We understand that this is a difficult time for your family.
We work with the funeral director of your choice to set up a time, place, and presider for the service. We will arrange a meeting time to discuss the funeral liturgy and organize the service.
When you meet with the parish staff to plan the details of the funeral, they will help you to plan the service.
Funeral fees are normally paid to the funeral home of your choice, which then pays the parish expense.
Parish Funeral Fees are $100.00
This fee does not vary whether the recipient of this funeral service are registered parishioners or not.
As per IRS regulations, it is the Diocesan policy that all fees are paid to the parish, which then disperses payment to musicians through payroll. Since the skills, training, and experience vary, the range of fees is quite broad.
Please let the staff know if you would like a reception after the Mass in order to spend some time with your family and friends. If you would like to use our facility for an after-funeral reception we would ask that you make a donation to the parish. Our Lazarus committee is able to serve up to 100 people.
