2011Harvest Raffle
Rules
1. Illegible entries will be disqualified.
2. St. Christopher's Church is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected mail or entries not forwarded to the Parish Office in time for entry selection, for computer system, phone line, technical, hardware, software, program or server failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections or any other difficulties which are human or technical in nature.
3. Prizes will be awarded as follows:
1st prize = $7,500
2nd prize = $2,000
3rd prize = $1,000
4th prize = $500
5th prize = $250
6th - 12th prizes = $100 each
Seller of 1st prize ticket = $250.00
Highest weekly ticket seller = $25.00, or a gift of comparable value
4. Persons must be at least 18 years of age or older to enter.
5. All entries paid for by check are subject to clearance of the check by the bank with sufficient funds by 14 business days prior to the announced drawing date for the ticket entry to be valid. Bank service charges are the responsibility of the buyer. Tickets with outstanding charges must be remedied no later than 7 business days prior to the drawing date or the ticket entry will be null and void.
6. Winners will be selected in a random drawing to be held on 9/25/2011, by Parish officials whose decisions are final with respect to all matters relating to this raffle. If the raffle cannot be held on the specified date for unforeseen reasons (an "act of God"), it will be rescheduled within 30 days of the original date.
7. Winners will be notified by phone and/or mail. In the event the parish is unable to contact a potential winner despite diligent efforts to do so, an alternate winner will be chosen by random drawing from the remaining entries.
8. Winnings must be paid directly to the winning ticket holder and not deferred to any other person or institution.
9. Winners are required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release Form and provide a photo ID and a completed W-9 form when prizes are claimed.
10. Winnings are subject to all applicable federal, state and local taxes.
11. Entrant agrees that this contest shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York and proper venue for any and all actions shall be deemed exclusively proper only in state court in Monroe County, New York or in the federal court for the Western District of New York.
12. A winner's list can be obtained 14 days after the drawing date by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:

13. Winners need not be present to win.
14. A maximum of 1,200 tickets will be sold. St. Christopher's Church reserves the right to cancel the raffle in the event that no more than 700 tickets are sold by 7 calendar days prior to the raffle. In the event of a cancellation, no prizes will be awarded and a full refund of the ticket price will be made to all entrants.
15. Winners agree to have their names and photos (if requested) to be published. Anonymous winners are not allowed.
16. All tickets must be purchased. There will be no free tickets or tickets as gifts as part of this raffle.
17. Only one buyer can be listed for each entry (form).
18. Tickets must not be sold on credit.
19. Entry in the Raffle constitutes your full and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules.
